Little Angels Ride on Sunday, 5/20

Our Chapter will be leading the Little Angels ride again this year. If you are interested in riding up to Woodstock H-D together, the Chapter is meeting at the Family Restaurant (Route 83 and North Avenue). Kick stands up at 7:30 AM. If you want to meet the Chapter at Woodstock H-D, let the parking crew know that you are with Oak Park HOG and you will be directed to the front of the line.

Tonight, Wednesday, May 16th, Illinois H-D is hosting a party for new bike owners at 6:30 PM. If you’re in the neighborhood (9950 Joliet Road in Countryside), drop by and tell them all the great things the Chapter does throughout the year and encourage them to join us.

Tomorrow night, Thursday, May 17th, is our Chapter meeting at 7:00 PM.

Register for the Green Ribbon Rally

The 10th Annual Green Ribbon Rally is on Saturday, June 9th. The ride starts and ends at the Batavia Moose Lodge. Registration on site begins at 9:00 AM. The poker run starts at 10:30 AM. More details and registration forms are available online (greenribbonrally.org). Also, if you are interested in volunteering, please let Jennifer know at Steve’s office (630 887 8400).

It’s last minute, but if you are available — and interested — there is a photo shoot tonight. The Wednesday Journal is writing an article about our Chapter and would like to include a photo shoot. If interested, meet other Chapter members at Illinois H-D (9950 Joliet Road) at 7 PM tonight. Yes, tonight.

Sunday Rides — Change in Time & Location

Sunday morning rides are now starting at JC Georges in Countryside (181 Countryside Plaza). Kick stands up (KSU) at 9:30. Come fed.

If interested, JC Georges will reserve space for the Chapter starting at 8:00 AM in the upstairs area. Members (and guests) can choose to eat and/or have coffee there before the ride. The ride will not be to breakfast. Knowing our Chapter, we will find a place to eat along the ride at some point for lunch/early dinner/snack depending on how far we go.

The goal is to get an earlier start to riding. After a couple of weeks we can evaluate how this is working. Comments/feedback welcome.

The move to Countryside is happening this weekend!!!

Bob Maxant informed us that the move beings Sunday, April 15th at 8:00 AM. The dealership will be closed from Sunday (4/15) through Tuesday (4/17). All volunteers are welcome to help with the move.

Our HOG Chapter meeting on Thursday, April 19th, will start at the Berwyn location (1301 S. Harlem) as scheduled. At some point during the meeting we will go to the Countryside location (9950 Joliet Road) as a Chapter.
